Took my 01 ls on a short trip, about 80 miles and everything was fine. When I went to return home I tried to start it but got nothing. Had all lights and gushes, just nothing from the starter. I replaced the starter and after and jump, it started but was not charging. So I replaced the alternator with a used one just to see if that would fix the problem. It did not. Still no charging. Took both alternators and had them tested and both were good. Can not figure out why.... I've double checked all fuses and relays and none were bad.could really use some input as to what could be the issue. One more thing, which of the two wires(orange or red) is the exciter wire? The orange is hot with the ignition on. I'll listen to all suggestions. Thnx
