Angry NO R&R, Overfilled Coolant and Cap Upside Down

I was not given the new radiator I was promised. Instead they ran my car with the heat cranked full blast for AN HOUR wihout telling me, I had no opportunity to explain that THAT makes transaxle fluid leak! They then showed me all the oil coming out underneath, told me that was the coolant I'd brought in, only the oil comes out the middle and the coolant on the right side. They owe me for 3 gallons of non-ethanol gas, AND they filled it so that it is twice about the hot line, and it's cool. Finally, they put the radiator cap on upside down, and inormed me I had a head gasket and an oil leak. I showed them the dipstick had barely gone down but 1/8 since I showed them I was 1/4 of a quart low, told me it wasn't transaxle flued because it wasn't pink, and told me I had a blown head gasket, but to keep putting cardboard under it. They refused to bleed it, and they refused to check the transaxle fluid.

I am going in tomorrow and demand they put the cap on correctly, I can't get it off when they force it like that, and then I'm coming home and bleed it myself. I wonder, should I attempt to drain some of the excess coolant they dumped in there?
I will NEVER go back to that shop, EVER. Bumpin '96 Monte was correct, they are garbage!

WOW. I was angry when I posted this. I'm sorry. I'm not demanding anything from them today, or ever.

I definitely would never go back. Another thing to address would be the leaking transmission. If it's leaking, sitting idleing vs driving is going to be the same amount or even more driving. As for opening the bleeder , do it and get it over . It will make you feel better. After the vehicle has been run as much as you state the air pocket would be gone . Hopefully another shop will treat you better. But I wouldn't be making demands that they follow the procedures you bring in to do the job. As I stated before , they don't read a book before they start a repair. Do you expect a dining establishment to only follow your cooking instructions or do they let the chef do his job ? Does a dentist only go by what he learned in school or do they use years of experience for every different situation. I hope the next place you find stands behind there job and answers your questions better. Good luck

No, I wouldn't, and no, I didn't. I left immediately and walked to the library as I'd told them I would 2 days before when I was in making a pmt.. I said I'd been told they were gonna throw darts at my picture and we all laughed, but I promised nonetheless I'd get lost, and I did. . This was the report given me by Willis hours later upon my return. I did ask politely if perhaps that was transalxe oil and he assurd me it was not, as transaxle oil is pink. I didn't argue, and I didn't dare ask him to check the level, it was an indirect refusal and I should not have said they directly refused. He told me they'd run it for an hour. I was not there. I didn't know it was with the heat on high until I got in to leave.
I certainly was not going to go back inside and explain I get burning oil when the heat is on high.

I didn't know the cap was on upside down or that the reservoir was two inches above the hot line while cold until last night. Willis had asked me to put cardboard under again, and gave me some. It was not my idea. There is a steady drip from the drain plug when the car is off. I have a puddle this morning. If I were to ask Willis now to please check the transaxle oil or tell him I get burning oil when I run the heat, he'd be insulted and he'd make me an appt for which he would charge.

LOLOL! If I had someone big I'd take them!
It's my undestanding they do this to women constantly and I should have had a male by my side evey time I went there.
I said something about it last night and female after female as well as one male said that shop had basically ruined their cars...
Several men said they were the best shop ever.
I was on my other profile and deleted the entire post.
I am scared to show them the cardboard they asked me to place, or ask them to straighten the cap.
I'm scared to go back there, period.
