NO LONGER at my wits end!! now for the small things...

I had some random misfire issues over the last 2 + years with my '02 SS. went through multiple MAFs, problems where the Speedo would drop, i'd lose cruise control going over bumps, and the car just flat out dying randomly on me.. began to not trust it at all.
But that's the past!! after having the car looked at by a local tuning shop, they found that the Wiring harness to the ECU had been worn the the wire jackets by the K&N filter, causing a whole bunch of shorts to the ECU and causing these issues. After they fixed it, it was a bit better, but not perfect. However, this past Wednesday, i had some dough to finally replace the MAF for the 3rd time.. must be a charm, because now it runs like a raped ape!!
nice and strong all the way up to 110! I didn't go any faster because i was running out of visible highway ahead of me, and i didn't need cops catching me at that speed. No codes of any kind, and not so much as a hiccup out of the ol' girl!!
So now a couple of small things..
1) Rear defrost hasn't worked in a while, but the fuse on the driver's side is just fine.. light comes on in the dash, but during winter, it ain't working.. is there a 2nd fuse somewhere?
2) Interior lights come on for about a split second when i either open the door, or use the dimmer ****. They all work, but just shut off right away, what could cause this? A lot of times they may not even come on at all!
3) The trunk light assembly got broken a long time ago, i wanted to replace it with an old Cold Cathode tube from a computer case that runs on 5volts.. is there an easy way to step down the voltage? has anyone else done this little mod? maybe there's an easy kit already made to do this?
