Default No headlights...

I don't believe it's the switch since it seems to work with parking lights. I assume it's something in a fuse box, but there doesn't appear to be a fuse dedicated to the headlamps, except the headlamp relay. Am I overlooking an easy fix fuse or should I replace the relay, or is there somewhere else I should check out first?

Many thanks. I really enjoy my Monte.

i know the relay under the hood is the same for the headlights and somethign else but fo rget what it is.

Also check to make sure the wires are still in good shape on the head lights. I have heard of the wires goign bad or melting on the montes. but i have not experinced this.
but still worth a check.
Also check the ground wires.

other then this i have no clue unless you happen to blow a fuse or both headlights at the same time witch i dont see this happening.

Also as a last ditch effort.
turn on your high beams and see if they come on. If they do let the switch snap back to make sure it is not sticking in there.
Also you might try finding a new switch fo rthat and try changing it as the head lights run threw that switch also.
Good luck and please let us know what you find out on this.

on a lot of vehicles the headlight relay is on the same as the horn relay, but i didn't go out and look, i'm just going frome experience.

sounds like it might be a fuse or relay

I feel like an idiot, but that is exactly what happened, it got stuck between high and reg beams and somehow neither were on. I've had this car for over two years and it's never happened before. I'm thankful it was no big deal though.
