Default New Transmission? But what kind?

I'm soon going to be replacing the enging I have(the original 3.4L V6 DOHC) with a 3.8 3800 Series III Supercharged V-6 Engine, but the question is, I'm going to need a newer, more powerful, and faster shifting transmission right? So, any ideas where I should look and what I should look for? Any help is very much appreciated!

LOL..... Lets just say that I have a huge want list. I like to do research especially on things I like. As soon as my warranty is up it's play time. Of course only after I figure out how to break the factory orginal parts I wanna replace. It makes it easier to sale my boss on the upgrades that way. [sm=badbadbad.gif]
