new member needs help with brakes on a 84'
Hello all! I am new to the site and working on a monte carlo this old. The problem I am having is not having any brakes. All the lines are new since there is a new/old rear end in it, replaced the master cylinder due to a small leak. After it was replaced we bled the brakes and still nothing. Could it be the brake booster? We are going to the parts store and getting new calipers due to one of the bleeders are a little stripped. Any and all help would be great! thank you! -Eric

Well the new calipers did the trick I would guess. It stopped seemed to me a little sloppy for it to stop but I dont drive it all the time I just help work on it lol. But part wise everything on the rearend is new, new lines, and new master cylinder. No we should of changed the hoses while we were doing all this. I mean does anybody make slotted rotors for the 84'?
