Default New Member needs help

Hi. i am new here

I own a 1994 chrysler lebaron le right now[:'(] my friend has a 1988 monte carlo ss. i really like his car but it needs work.
I am trying to research the 1985 or 1988 monte carlo ss. i am looking to buy one. but i am new to the automotive world. i was trying to find out about engines for the carlos. can some one please help me?

1985 - 1986: 305ci Small Block Chevy 180BHP
1987 - 1988: 305ci Small Block Chevy 165BHP

you can easily put any Small block in the monte or a big block with some modificaton.

Summit Racing. if your going to build a monte, suggestion is drop a 350 in it.

sorry to correct you but its the other way around 87-88 180bhp and 85-86 165bhp.

.....and pay the extra fora 4-bolt main.
