Default Need info to add foglights to my 01 Monte Carlo LS

I want to add foglights to my car. I was looking at the size of the opening and was wondering if the Monte CarloSS lights and the lights from a 1997 thru 2004 Malibu are the same size or the same lights? If they are, does anyone know if the mounting bracket on the Malibu lights will work on a Monte Carlo? Does anyone have a pic of a Monte Carlo SS foglight with the mounting bracket to compare them?Any info is appreciated. thanks Keith

Hey keith,
i actually added fog lights to my monte and hid a switch in the center concil. i have an 01 LS that did not come factory with fogs. what i actually did was measure the holes and buy aftermarker(huge price difference) for like 15 bucks from good ol wally world. the light is about 1/4 smaller then the hole for the factory fogs, so i centered them in the holes. if you have looked behind your bumper cover you have noticed that it is just a huge open space. that is why factory fogs would be nice because they would bolt right on. anyway i made custom brackets out of aluminum and bolted them to the metal bumper behind the bumper cover. they look good to me i dont have any pics with them on yet but i will get some. i also put yellow bulbs in. they contrast my hid's greatly.
well aftermarket is just an option. it takes a bit more work. let us know what you end up doing and post pics!
