Default My brakes

I have 93k on my '06 LTZ with original factory brakes.

Today my mechanic said I have over 70% brakes left on my front brakes.

The other mechanic said that AC/Delco made some great brake pads that year.

The only thing I need is to have my rotors resuraced.

What a great testament to AC/Delco and the driver.

Hope other members have similar stories.

Peace,
Dave

I had bad luck with the stock rotors warpping, so I got all new pads and rotors in the front at 19,000 miles under good will repair from GM, so it all OEM parts...I have 81,500 miles on it now, and rotors are warpped yet again, but the pads are still fine...i'm just driving with it as is until they wear out completly...So I have 62,500 on my current pads, and they are still going. I drive my car pretty hard sometimes too. I was just thinking the other day, WOW, these pads are lasting forever! My rear brakes are original with 81,5XX miles on them...also still going!

If AC/Delco is good for anything, it sounds like brake pads. Now if they can keep the rotors from warping????
