I brought up tight steering,, but I have paid attention to the steering lately and it really is hard steering. Is this hard steering normal or should it be relativly similar to other cars.

Hard steering is not normal for these cars. You should be able to turn with you pinkie finger. The clunking noise your hearing is pretty normal for these cars. According to Chibiblacksheep, a little grease will fix the problem. Maybe shoot him a PM, and he can tell you where to apply the grease/ how to do it.

I have not heard a clunking sound (as of yet). Have you had to deal with this issue yet?

My steering is not very hard,, but it does seem just a bit more harder or tighter than the average car. I am not sure if I am mistaken this for a problem. It has always been this way. I think I am way too paranoid about issues with my car. Since I have under 200 miles of warranty left, I am looking for every little detail.

BTW, we had a very cold day here last week, and I hit soft bump. The rear suspension seemed noisy that day? Ever run into that issue?

Its ok that its a little tighter than most cars. Thats a good thing, it just means its a little more responsive than your average car. Trust me, there are cars with even tighter steering out there.

The clunking i'm refering to is not heard very much, but you would feel it when turning into parking spots or tight turns. Mine just recently started to do it, and apparently all it needs is a little grease. Both Chibi, and the mechanic at the dealer told me this. So either I will grease it, or i'll have the dealer do it when I take it in one last time before my warranty expires.

I've never heard noise come from my suspension.

Sounds to me like your steering is fine.

Ahh, yes, I do notice a little sensation from time to time when I make sharp turns. Thanks for clarifying that. I think that is happening with my car too.

I know you have to take off the lower dash panel, and grease the steering shaft from inside the car...
