Low Oil Pressure - Turn Off Engine
Hello,
I have been getting the Low Oil Pressure - Turn Off Engine message on my 2007 Monte Carlo LT. The dealership confirmed the oil pressure is fine. They believe it maybe an issue with the wire connecting to the oil pressure sensor. A bulletin lead them to that conclusion. They said the power steering pump must be removed in order for them to get to it to fix it.
Has anyone else had this problem? Does this sound right?
I tried to turn the chimes off in the console control panel so I could drive it without the annoying noise, but the only options are normal and loud.
