I thought I was going to see a thread about how there was an insolvable problem. At least you know what the problems were, and honestly they aren't serious problems. The worse things about this is the prices you payed. $110 for a battery is about $35 more then I would pay for a stock replacement, $200 for the alternater is about twice what I payed for my alt, but at least the tire wasn't bad.

Sorry that this happened all at once, but I've had MUCH worse happen in my own Monte. When you consume 6 quarts of oil in 100 miles, that's a problem lol.

Yes I know - I had to throw a fit though because this is a good place to get it all out and vent a bit even it might not seem that severe.

I get very stressed out when things are wrong with my car too. At least it will be fixed and be fine. Also if you hit the curb hard you may want to get the front end checked out if you haven't already.

UPDATE:

New alternator did not work. Voltage is still way low and battery light comes on along with check engine too. The car is still popping out the back and acts like it has no power to accelerate. I dropped it off at the stealership to get looked at as I cannot keep throwing new parts on this and still having issues. Hoping to find out its something simple - coil packs? but it will probably end up being the BCM or something super f***ing expensive.

BCM isn't that expensive. It's like a 2 hour relearn process maybe $400?

Could it just be some rotted cables preventing the alternator from charging right?

Well I redid the grounds awhile back with 4 gauge kicker wire and everything was going super as it fixed my dimming from my sub and stuff - I checked all of those and they are fine as well. I would love to have the BCM be only 400 haha but time will tell I guess.

********UPDATE 9/12 3:45*********
Dealership say it's the BCM, I took it to a Toyota dealership that used to do GM and they said they still service all makes so I figured they could do it, but no. They have to take it to their other dealership that services GM makes for this sort of thing. Looking at around $50 for them to diagnose it and still waiting to hear a price on the BCM and installation - I called another dealership just to quote the price and they estimated it near $400 for parts/labor. F*** my life.
