I was just talking to Will from Overkill, and I asked him the same thing. He said that all you need is the pcm. I was asking him about a 2003 Monte. Not sure what year yours is, but he said that with the 2003 pcm tuned for the L67, you don't need the bcm.

My 3400 still runs really well, but I want a 3800. So I'm picking up a Series III 3800 on Friday to swap into my car. Thinking about top swapping it before I put it in my car.

You'll need the PCM and you'll need to modify your wiring harness OR get the harness from an L67 powered Monte
