Just Bought a '95 Z34
Hello All.
This is the first post in this forum. I've just joined.
We just bought a Monte Carlo with 110K miles that was owned from new by an old lady(private sale, verified on title). The car is in great shape overall. We took it for a 200 mile drive and I noticed a "rolling vibration" at highway speeds. I'm in the HVAC business and would suspect a bearing problem if I was looking at a unit at work. It would come and go about every 10 seconds. It could be road initiated.
Can anyone clue me into what I should be checking?
Also, we got about 20 MPG. Is there a cold air intake available for this engine. My K&N search just showed an OEM style filter. I did see a setup fabbed by a member but saw no followup on availability.
Finally, would a "Tornado" style device added to the air intake help?
I know these are a lot of questions, but I'm trying to solve these issues ASAP.
Thanks,
Jogasz28

Welcome to MCF!!
Have you checked the tire condition first? I would think a bad bearing would give off a constant but then again so would the tires. Is it in the steering wheel or the entire car?

It does feel like it's coming from the entire car.
Thank you for the reply.
