Default Items needed for themostat replacement

Hi, sadly I need to replace my thermostat and I was looking up the parts. Does anyone know which gasket exactly you need for the change before I rip everything apart? I have an '04 dale earnhardt jr 3.8 V6.

Should be ACDELCO 24506985.

However, some people recommend removing the throttle body and intake tube to give a little more room, if you do that, I would replace the TB gasket as well.

Would this be an acceptable replacement?
