Intake Manifold Gasket Replacement

Intake Manifold Gasket Replacement
I am needing some help with my intake manifold gasket replacement. I am wondering if there is a step by step list of what needs to be done to do this. I got a Haynes book but am finding it somewhat difficult to navigate and am not real sure where to start with pulling apart stuff. I have some of the plugs and wires out and am struggling with the back wires and plugs. As a novice when it comes to car repair what are the best resources or suggestions.

Sorry I'm not familiar with that engine. If it was a 3800 I'd have some links for you. Check youtube because there are a lot of great videos on there with "how to" information.
The first time I did mine I had no clue what I was doing but the Haynes manual got me through it. Just read through it a few times before you start taking it apart.

i did do mine about a month ago but i have 3800...when you get the intake of make sure you put push rods in to styrofoam and make everyone its very very important that they go in the same way they came out...cant stress this enough and clean it very very good with seafoam and small piece of sand paper.only use a small pea size amout of rtv in corners dont over do it pea size....use the rtv they give you in FELPRO kit...clean everything very very good upper and lower parts and make sure it nice clean metal...when you are removing the plug wires make sure to mark them and to also need to use a plug wire plier to get them off..mark all injector wires ..make sure you CHANGE the OIL....it will smoke alot for a while 30 minute once its all back together but this is normal it needs to burn all the cleaner u used off and anything else you got on the motor
