Intake manifold leak

Ahh I like your thinking...LOL! Always thinking PERFORMANCE!
But more than likely it is the LIM that is the most common gasket to leak on the 3.8L...maybe this guy is somewhat luck and its the UIM and he can go do a few mods! wooohooo!

im not that good with my car, but i think its the UIM
its the black plastic thats under the "3800 cover"
check this image, the red is what im assuming that is leaking
& the yellow arrow points to where i find traces of coolant

yes that black plastic thing is your UIM. It's actually basically just a stupid hallow cover that bounces air around.
If you want a performance boost + gasket change buy This HV3 Insert
Once you take the UIM off, you just take out the plastic runners (the black plastic inside the UIM throw those away, and replace that with this insert (takes 2 seconds to remove and put the insert in, then you just lightly bang it with your hand to get it to fit, being careful not to crack the UIM) and it comes with the new gasket!
Put back together, and no more leak and upper RPM response is better. (aka highway speeds)
