OK GUYS I TAKING APART MY DASH NOTHING MAJOR SEEING WHAT HAD TO BE TAKING APART FOR MY AFTERMARKET RADIO INSTALL. I had the key in the ignition on ACC . i didnt disconnect any eletrical componets. One i saw what i need to see for my radio install i put my dash back together and i removed the key. WHEN I PUT THE KEY BACK IN AND TRY TO START MY CAR THE IGNITION WONT TURN...... WHERE DID I GO WRONG???? AND WHAT WILL FIX IT

battery isnt dead is it?

 

its a 2001 monte carlo SS and basically after i put the dash back together the
Key won't turn in the ignition to start the car. But u can pull the key out fine[/align]

 

bezel around the ignition possibly not fully seated, keeping the key from being fully inserted? might try just poping it off to be sure.
