Default I am quite saddened to say that it is with deep regret that I must sell my '01.

ISO info regarding the best way to go about selling my car (preferably in my area as I can't deliver.)
Due to health reasons, I must sell my '01 unfortunately and I need to do so sooner than later & without giving it away.
It's been my dream car since I was a kid and I finally got it now I have to let it go, I just hope it goes to someone who will appreciate it as I have!🤗
BACK TO THE POINT-
If anyone has any suggestions whatsoever, any resources &/or wouldn't mind taking a minute or 2, to point me in the right direction (etc.) I'd be extremely appreciative & oh-so-grateful!!
(I tried posting it on this site under classifieds, however I'm not eligible to do so I guess&#128532
THANKS SO MUCH FOR TAKING TIME TO READ MY 'PLEA' (lol.)
Respectfully,
VICKI/01SS

Are you ok dealing with private party sale BS? If so, I'd just cast a wide net across the big local free sales pages - Facebook marketplace, offerup, Craigslist, etc. That'll ensure its someone local.

I have used autotrader before, but it was a paid service when I used it (not sure if it still is) and TBH I got just as much interest from the free sites.

Before you do that, I'd probably at least get a free quote from Carmax. You can do it 100% online and it only takes a few minutes. At least that gives you a baseline if you get fed up dealing with individuals (or if people are trying to lowball you too much). We sold our last car to them, and while they were about 10% lower than local private party listings, it was worth it to me to be done and over with the whole thing in under an hour vs the days / weeks of calls, emails, tire kickers, and scammers from halfway around the world.

Granted used car prices are starting to slide pretty hard, so they may not be competitive - but in the worst case you're only out 10 minutes of your time.

To post in the classifieds, you must be a member for 5 days and have 10 posts. Sadly we had too many issues with people who dropped in, made only a for sale post and disappeared. Some people got scammed and in other cases people had interest but the person never came back.

All the rules are in a post that was stickied in the classifieds section:
