Default Hub assembly hot

Recently purchased a '78 Monte to restore. After replacing the rotor / hub assembly in the front, I noticed the hub was pretty warm after a quick test drive. Not too hot to touch, but pretty warm. Is this normal? I replaced bearings (packed them), castle nut, and seals when installing both sides. Both front hubs were warm.

Is it ok for the hub to get warm or should I be worried?

There's going to be some heat yes, between the brakes heating up the rotors and just the bearings causing heat. Other things to consider is the preload on the bearings. Too tight or loose will also cause excessive heat. Good luck

thanks for the response. I got the brakes done finally after replacing the master and booster and a ton of bleeding.
