Default Hub Assembly

Has any1 else been having problems with there hub assembly...... had to take my car in again because i think my hub assembly has gone bad again.... had it replaced once already by dealership.... and hopefully its still covered since my warranty ends this week......

Yes, the Wheel Hubs are a common problem for the W-body cars.

Each wheel has one, it might be a different one than the first time.

well im hoping it is the hub assembly...... its was making like a flapping noise on the right side.....

Make sure you are using quality parts. ACDelco, Timken, or SKF.

And that everything is being properly torqued down.

I will have to recommend the TIMKEN HUB ASSEMBLY. I got both of mine on ebay for around 180.00 then pay my mechanic 100 to do them.......I haveheard they are the best to use!!!

naw i used orilieys auto parts whatever they use... i'm kinda stuck with them now cuz i got them under warrenty so i'll just keep swaping them out for now

I've heard bad things about the off-brand ones only lasting 6months at a time.

See if as part of the warranty you can swap for a better part?

yeah mine dont have warrenty anymore so i just did some research and my mechanic said that timkens wear the better ones to get....buy them and take them in to dealer and say put these ones on........i used them and problem solved.....so i agree with chibi!!!!!!

apparently it wasn't my hub assembly it was my transmission again...... this dealerships are not doing there job right if i had my transmission replaced less then a year ago by them....
