Hey Well ive noticed a Howling Noise from My car. The Problem is the howling is When im turning BOTH ways, not just one and its most noticeable at 15-25Km. and turning.. And even MORE noticeable after Ive been Driving Around abit. (like it gets worse as it gets hotter?) I do not hear the Howling as I drive faster Like high way100km. Only turning at slow Speeds..
Ive Noticed it since i took it out of storage... I thought it was the Front left wheel bearring beacause there was a bit of play it it. soo I did that myself and did not fix the problem. Then the other day after it rained out my car Shoots a ABS code saying Rear left Wheel ABS. so i tested it and scanner says its working wheel speend good....

Its a 2005 MC / SC. Just ROLLED over 95 oookms And I also Just Put new rims and tires on My car. 18" and the tires are Champiro Gt Radials 245/45/18.

Im starting to Belive its the Tires.. Maybe thier HARD get loud as they warm Up???

Now Would anyone know what this could Be? Its not Grinding like a Trans Axel Would.. car runs fine shifts Fine.. thiers Vary Little viberation at 80to95kms then gose away at 100km,, (my Guesse on that is just Wheel ballance)



UPDATE..
Ok here is all My problems.. First I have Changed Front Left wheel Bearring (because it has play) and Rear Left (because computer Throw ABS code).. My abs Light has finally Not come on. Witch was the Rear Left Bearing.. as for the HOWLING Im still Not Sure..
It is weird.. I do not hear the howling that much untill Ive driving for few mins. and Only between The speeds 20-30Kms. and Turning the SteeringWheel both ways 1/2 turn to 3/4 is when u hear it the most. Never Driving Stright. Kinda sounds like a viberation or rubbing. I had my car in winter stoage all winter once i took it out i put new 18" rims 245/45/18 Rubber. ever since then ive been hearring this. Also Between the speeds 75-95 Kms My steerwheel Shacks a Bit witch I belive is probly a bad ballance wheel?? Ive Even STUCK MY head out the window to see if i can hear where its comming from, the noise is deffinitly Louder inside the car then the outside.. and sounds like the Front.... Next week Im going to pick up My stock Tires Witch 2 are still good and put them on the front of my car and see if it still dose it.

Eh, I would've guessed both wheel bearings, but check your power steering fluid. The PS pump might be getting weak

 

Fluid Is good. Dosn't sound Like a whinning PS Pump. Its Deff like a wheel bearring howl. its just weird how as i go faster it dosnt howl. And How it howls Turning only 20-25Kms. and both ways.. My ABS light came on again for Rear left ABS. soo today im going to check the abs wire and if i see nothing wrong just going to change wheel bearring..

 

My guess is the wheel throwing the ABS light is the source of your noise. Definately start there and inspect.

 

Sounds like wheel bearings to me.

Could this be Tranny? Evryonce and awile I have the HARSH SHIFT 1811 Code.. AND latly It shifts harder in 1st and 2nd more offten NOW... I would really like to know whats going On. Tranny Rebuild Also... at 98 000kms It seems its fallin apart
