Default How to replace shifter cable?

Hi guys, shifter cable recently broke and I purchased one online which should be here shortly. Just wondering the difficulty level on taking out the bad and replacing it with the good?

It's not too bad. Assuming you have a floor shift, you'll have to tear the center console out, down to the shifter assembly. Then you'll have to peel the carpet back to pull it out through the firewall. It's kind of a mess of sorts. I did this, but when I had the engine and trans out for my 5 speed swap.
