I got a really good deal on Bendix rotors and full ceramic pads. Brakes were about $115 after taxes.

The standard Powerslot Rotors and Hawk pads upgrade.

What's up with the new profile Space?

I got about 80,000 miles out of my original pads and rotors. I replaced the rears right away at the dealer (goodwrench parts). The fronts I had to wait a couple of paychecks to do, and got them done at a local garage. About three months later I was getting a lot of brake chatter (about 6,000 miles later). I took it back to the local garage that did the fronts. They said that the front pads and rotors were worn, and replaced them. Anybody else have any fast break wear issues? The originals laster forever, so i'm not sure if it was just bad parts on the front.

Hi Ryan
Member Biggriggs

With normal driving you should be able to get 50 to 60K miles on
new brake pads

Fromyour post it seems your mechanic may have just put on new pads
without turning or replacing the rotors

I read that some new rotors can be bad
and it pays to get the best brake parts for stoppingyour Monte

A warped rotor will cause vibrations

Good Luck Ryan
