Whenever I start up the engine, the altinator pulley starts squeeking very loudly. Its real annoying because it makes the car sound like it has 90,000 miles, but it only has under 31,000 miles. I tried spraying wd40 at the center of the pulley,the soundgoes away for a few seconds, then it just comes back. I still have my warentee, should I go to the dealership shop and try to get the pulley replaced? What do u guys think??

 

if under warrantythen yea i would drop it off and have them diagnose it and replace the parts...

 

It sounds like the bearings in the alternator is going bad. I would have it replaced
