i read in some of the other threads that the remote start gets weaker over time. well i think it defeats the purpose of having it if you need to go outside and be 10 feet away for it to work, mostly since i live in minnesota (do the math). so you say it is something that the dealership will cover? please let me know im very interested!

 

Yes, take it to the dealer, they will replace the receiver in the dash, and the remotes. I just barely had the same problem fixed, works awesome now.
