I have a 2003 Monte Carlo 3.4L. Anyways ever since I bought this car the highbeam out message has been on. I've checked the bulbs and they work on both high and low. I read somewhere that it could be a problem with the drl's. I checked the fuses and their all fine. What else could I check/be wrong? Thanks for the help

 

I had this same problem. Fixed it by changing the multi function switch. The old one was failing

 

Multifunction switch? Is that the headlight switch?

 

Never mind I looked it up. I'll eventually get the part hopefully next pay day I'll let you know if that fixed my problem also. Thanks!
