High Altitude
Anyone know of anything I should do to my car to coax some better milage outta my car while I'm at school? When home I sit at about 4,334 feet above sea level, here at school about 9,200 feet and I've been getting 19-20 mpg since the move this year, I was getting about 23-24 last year up here. I know my new tires effected it but by 4-5 mpg? It didn't seem to affect milage much back home. I mean the new ones are about .15" shorter and just under an inch wider. Isn't the computer supposed calculate how much fuel to use with the lower oxygen? I thought if that was true than milage shouldn't be effected much, just power.
Any ideas anyone?
