5th Gen ('95-'99): Help
My 1997 Monte Carlo LS 3.1L, gave a code of P0305. Went and got my injectors replaced along with my spark plugs and wires of course. Drove it around and noticed that when I accelerate or am stopped, it hesitates and the check engine light comes on. Went to get it tested and the same code pops up, P0305. I literally just got everything replaced, is there another reason this code pops back up and is this something that I can do myself? I'm really not looking to give more money for something I can do at home.

What are the Possible Causes of the P0305 Code?
A thorough diagnosis can pinpoint the exact cause of code P0305. Common causes of the code include:- Ignition system problems (e.g.a worn spark plug or failed coil pack)
- Fuel system problems (e.g., failed fuel injector or damaged injector driver)
- Engine mechanical problems (e.g., a leaking valve or damaged lifter)
Just gotta diagnose it. Start by checking for fire at plug, then check to see if injector is firing, then do compression test.
