Default Heater core hose

Howdy,
This might be a dumb question but I simply do not know 😂 My 1996 Monte is leaking from what looks like one of the heater core hoses. Is there a part number of some raw stock hose. This my daily driver to work and I try to fix it myself when I can.

Default Old school spring clamp adios!!!

Those factory installed spring clamps lose tension over time. The constant changes in temp break them down. Get some screw type stainless clamps.
The heater heater hoses, like radiator hoses, should be changed in pairs. Expect to lose antifreeze during hose replacement. Good luck.

IMO I wouldnt use bulk hose. Ive not had good luck with it not kinking in applications where it needs a notable bend.

Instead I'd go on rockauto and buy the replacement molded hose (it'll be under the Heater AC > Heater hose section). They're less than $10.

I disagree. There's nothing wrong with stock style spring clamps as evidenced by his original ones lasting 25 years. A brand new set of clamps with new heater hose will likely hold up until this car is in the junkyard.

Screw type clamps are easier to work with but have several disadvantages to spring clamps.
