Default Heated seat not working

My drivers side leather seat heater is not working. I followed the write up in the heated seat fix, but I don't have a burnt wire problem. I believe the bottom element is just shot. I heard from some where that you can bypass it so only the lumbar heater would work.

What wires need to be connected together to make it work? I would like to get one of them working before winter hits. Winters here get really really cold. Thanks.

Just buy a new element and have uphostery shop install. Corvette forum has several online sources for GM Parts.

I am looking at a wiring print of the heated seat. There shows to be a relay also called the control module for the drivers seat and also a relay for the passengers seat heat. It appears to be mounted under the seat. You may also ohm out the elements to make sure there is not an open in them.

The leather seat in my car is hot as hell. It was 92 degrees in FLA yesterday. I need a seat cooler.
