Heat on my Feet all Year
Greetings, new member here. I'm trying to find the cause of the heat that builds around my feet regardless of whether the heat or A/C are on in my 84 standard G-code Monte Carlo (305 V-8 Auto). The heater temp selector does work to make the air hotter or colder. It appears that the hot water is circulating all the time to some degree or other? Could this be the heater control valve, or is there a second valve for water flow in or around the heater box under the dash?
Regards,
Clarence

1) The heat A/C head control unit has gone bad.
2) The solenoid bank has gone bad. (has many colored hoses connected to it)

3) There is a vacuum leak / no vacuum to the controls
4) The vacuum actuator valve is broke.

Hot Feet
Thanks, KidSpace. The dash controls work to some degree at least-it gets hotter when you slide it to hot, cooler when slid to cooler but you notice it on hot days that the hot never entirely gets cut out. It has happened with my GF's 90 Blazer she bought new, so if we find the culprit here it may help troubleshoot that one too.
