Default Headlights running during daylight

Weird, my exterior lights run all the time when the car is running, shut the car off and they turn off. During the day shouldn't the DRL's be the only thing on?

possibly a bad sensor then, never heard of this issue personally. im sure other members will chime in. you dont have the head light switch pulled out to manually turn on the lights do you?
