I have HID headlights. One of them is burned out. I am thinking of getting rid of the HID's. Anyone have any suggestions as to what is a really good bulb to use? I was thinking about Sylvania Silverstar bulbs.

 

silver star ultra's if you plan on going back to a conventional bulb
sadly i paid less for my whole hid kit than what most places want for the silverstars

 

Silverstar Ultras have good light output, but you are lucky to get a year out of them.

I would just get regular Silverstars (or GE Nighthawks)

They go on sales for buy one get one free frequently. Maybe you can find a deal like that.

 

i bought the black euro crystal headlights off of ebay. They use stock lights and have pretty good output even with the black. Just make sure you adjust them because they are normally way off when they arrive. This is the seller I bought them from. The pictures of the lights on the website arent very good.
