having wiring problems

Default having wiring problems

I was wondering if anyone could help me. i just installed a new alt because when i step on the brake, signal light or head lights come on the volt down to 13 or 12 sometimes and i checked the all the ground to the lights and went over the wires but i still cant find the problem

Default wiring

im having the same problem but im not getting any brake lights. replaced everything but just checked and im not getting any reading to the brake light switch. what could be the issue?

It sounds like theres definitely a wireing issue...Certainly one I have never heard of.... ounds like when your pushing the brake pedal it creates an open ground...somewhere... Try replaceing the brake pedal switch..(maybe get one from the boneyard) To save some expense and try swapping them out to see if that changes anything...... If not then I would take a serious look at the voltage regulator!... (pick one up from the boneyard the same time you do the brake switch). Let us know if any of those things made a difference...
