Default having a coasting/plateau problem/losing rpms

before i type this.....this is the only thing it does. the power doesnt surge, the lights dont flicker or anything else when it happens.

i wanted to ask my own version of this question in case my problem is showing different issues than someone else who might have made a similar post.

but, when im getting up to speed and i hold the gas pedal to around 40-50 mph, the rpms suddenly drop down and u can clearly hear it. it doesnt sputter or anything though. its kinda weird. doesnt matter what speed either, it happend at 70mph as well before i let my foot off the gas then punched it again but then it would happen about 10 mph later after getting through the speed that the rpm drop happened at.

i havent had a chance to get it hooked up to a machine yet, the mechanic i go to isnt available at the moment.

very hard to explain as i dont know all the terminology

could it be a fuel injector issue?

trans oil line?

something else?

any help is greatly appreciated. i couldnt see myself asking any place else since theres so many good people here.
