Default Losing power, gaining headache....

My 86 SS seems to lose power after sitting for 1/2 a day...checked the connections to the battery and alternator already. It's embarrasing to have the wife jumpstart me with her Toyota Rav4....can anyone offer some suggestions as to why the loss in power?

Its not the connections itself... it is one of three things:

You have a wire grounded out that is drawing power. (aftermarket radio?)

You need a new alternator, as the coils are not producing the charged needed to completely keep that battery full

You need a new battery due to a dead cell that can not hold the charge...

You also might have an aftermarket toy constantly draining power as well.

Mine is an LED set for my backup camera and will drain the battery in 18 days.

The battery is fairly new...the alternator I'm not too sure about (looks original, btw...how many amp alternator should I have)....As far as the grounded wire goes....yeah, I've an aftermarket radio...so what wire would I be looking for and how could I test it out to figure if out?
