you know the funky sisor jack that all makes use for there spair tires. will i just upgraded my jack do to the sisor jack that came with my monte broke when jacking up my monte. it kinda was a pain in the ars do to having to get a ride home to get a jack and a ride back to the monte. well i got the jack from pepboys a better one but at least it is not the sisor junk.

So you're asking if scissor jacks have broke before? Of course they have, the ones that come with the car aren't of the best quality and if something's going to break, its going to happen at the worst time (stranded on the side of the road).

it happened to me early to day when i didnt have a friend that wasnt working and i ended up calling a cab.to pick me up and drop me off back to my monte i hate to waste money like that. i also got a jack when i went to pepboys to get my tire pluged it was on sale and it is a good one a 2 ton jack it is a bit of a over kill but it works

Too big is better than too small. At least the new jack won't leave you stranded again.
