After checking the fluids levels (oil, brake fluid, trans, etc.), I noticed that the power steering fluid is "coolant" green looking... What is the actual color of "Power stering fluid"? Jiffy lube did my oil change and topped my fluids. Which they told me that my power steering fluid was low. Any suggestions would be great guys.....

Without going out and looking I want to say mine's a clear pinkish color.

 

Thanks dustybird for the info. I know I am not going bacl to them to top "no" fluids off In my car. I know they did help me out with "knowing where the Air Cabin Filter" was. Talking about they want $40 to change it. I went str8 to autozone and bought it for $11 and put it on myself....

 

PS fluid is almost clear with a hint of amber when brand new but quickly turns to a dark reddish color, almost like dirty trannie fluid

 

Well after checking the fluid level today, tats what made me question on the color. Green power steering fluid, I know is not likely to be...

I'd dang sure make sure they (and the manager) know about it.

 

Dump it out asap, and replace.
Who knows what those fools did at the shop... and in case they accidentally top it off with something else, i would check every other fluids as well.
If you still have doubts, replace them all.

 

I will go back and let them know what all happen and I have checked the oil (seems fine), trans(Seems fine, no funny burnt smells), brake fluid (seems fine), and windshield washer fluid (seems fine) but all-n-all I really want to change it all. How do I go about draining the power steering, coolant, hell ALL the "top-off" fluid? I think I will et the pro's handle that one...
