IMO 6000 is the only color they should be. EVER. lol

After 6000k it doesn't look like it gets any more visible, just colors start to change.

 

I personally would go with 5000K. And I might actually pick up a set. I just have no clue which kind to get since there are so many cheap ones sold on ebay, it's hard to find a good set that will last for a good price.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

got mine off ebay. they are called rikensport and it lasted me since december with no porblems. got the 8000k with no cops pulling me over *knock on wood*

 

thats the way to do it. in my 18 times of gettin pulled over all ive done is play stooooopid. so far still no ticket :O the 8000 do give off blue. the 6000 are white. in my albums the fog lights are 8000k.

 

lol ya.. one time my playing stupid didn't work and i walked away with 2 tickets each of $115 for my window tint and exhaust

 

i got pulled over last week for no front plate. as soon as i put in park i shut off my car right away cause i don't want them to give me another ticket for loud exhaust or look under the car to see if i have cat.

 

that's stupid. I've seen plenty of new cars with the stock HID's and what not. I believe that cop was just being a dick. I have blue headlights in my xtreme and haven't gotten pulled over for them at all. I had yellow headlights in it that were illegal and it took me like a week to get pulled over for them. I honestly think you should be just fine. Maybe it's just a difference in location maybe?

 

i can see if you live in smaller town/city some cop will be messing with you....they probably have nothing else to do.

lol yes calgary is thats why i live in airdrie 10-15min north of there lol.. it was a peace officer that pulled me over if it was an RCMP i'm sure they wouldn't have bothered, but i got away ticket free
