6th Gen ('00-'05): gas leak at nylon/plastic elbow

Default gas leak at nylon/plastic elbow

hello all, i need help finding out what this white piece is called.
its leaking gas like crazy and needs replacement. is it a easy fix? any help appreciated!

Is the actual plastic broken? Usually you can just replace the orings inside to stop leaks with these. But if the plastic or line is broken you will need to replace the whole end.

i see thanks man, ok ill try the orings first. the white plastic connector thing and the line itself seems to be fine

There should be a u shaped clip that slides in at the bottom the fitting. Dorman makes them. Search for fuel line clip. Twice I've had this pop off and gas was pumping everywhere.

thanks man! yeah that gas spraying out everywhere cant be good. i ended up replacing the oring and i got those dorman fuel line clips you mentioned and replaced that too.. once i got it all back on i heard a good click and no more leak as of now... hopefully i did everything right.

Hope so too. I just keep a check on it now & then. I guess the clip loses tension over time.
