My moms Lumina 3.8 is leaking gas from a quick connect fitting. I haven't put too much though into fixing it yet until I asked here. I told my mom not to drive it.

Can it be a gasket in the fitting? Maybe an o-ring, if it has one? Do I need to replace it?

Any suggestions?

 

well pop it off and take a look...if u havent driven it in a few days u shouldnt have to releave the fuel pressure

 

I had the same problem last week, and sice it was going in for a new tranny, they stuck a new o ring in.... no more leak.
