G body mirrors

Default G body mirrors
Im new to this website and need some advise. I just purchased an 84 ss and has the older style mirrors. I noticed the 86-88 have different ext. Mirrors. Can they be installed on a 84?

yes the mirrors are interchangeable, however you will need to fill in the hole left behind by the 84 mirrors and drill new hole for the 86+ mirrors. the mirrors use different mounting locations.

o.k thanks for the advice. its a project car and will be painted soon so its best to do now.
