Changing 84 mirrors to some 87 ls mirrors

Default Changing 84 mirrors to some 87 ls mirrors
Has anyone changed their older bullet style mirrors to the newer aero mirrors? The bullet style sit more towards the middle of the door and aeros are towards the fron of the door. Can someone please help me with exact location of newer mirrors. Thanks alot
