Default Fuse panel... Power only when car is running ?

Hello guys, I need to hook a GPS up to my fuse panel, it is peminantly hooked up built into the dash. I only want power to it when the car is either running, or the accessory is on. I have one of the fuse "Tap" ins for the power. What fuse would you suggest I use ? Also, where would a good ground place be for the negitive side ? Thanks as always...mjclemm

A really easy way is to get a test light and start poking around. Find a fuse with a 20 amp rating and plug it in. I have never had an issue doing it like that.

X2

Run the ground to anything steel under the dash... or tie it in to a factory ground.
