Fuel Pump Power Problem
(A reply from another thread - Moved for exposure)
It is normal for the fuel pump to only run a couple of seconds then shut off when you turn the key on. This primes the fuel system and builds pressure in the fuel line. Once the vehicle starts the fuel pump will be provided a constant supply of power. What is the problem you are having? No start? Start and die?
hello forum im having a problem with trying to find out why the fuel pump isn't getting any power i dropped the tank to see if the fuel pump was good because before i dropped it i listened through the gas cap first and it was running the first time the battery was going dead so i charged it and tryed it again with in 30min then no sound at all , relay is good fuse good and still no power what else could it be please needing your help? sorry it is a 1997 monte carlo z34 3.4l
