Default Fuel Pressure Regulator

Hello,

Just want to know how long it takes to put a fuel pressure regulator in and if it is fairly easy to do. I have '02 Monte LS. I took it to the mechanic yesterday and he told me that the part is $111 and the labor would be $51. I found the part at Advanced Auto some for less that half the price and others right around $70. I am so sick of mechanics taking advantage of women. Any help would be appreciated. I am about ready to learn how to work on my own car. Thank you.

I had the same problem and bought mine for about 40 bucks and it is fairly easy to put on I did it myself. $162 dollars is a very steep price for something simple.

Thank you both. I'm going to see if I can do this myself. Wish me luck.
