Default 1999 monte carlo fuel pressure regulator

How do I change a fuel pressure regulator on a 1999 monte carlo?

relieve the fuel pressure and lift the fuel rails off. Once you do that there is a snap ring on the regulator itself (they sell snap-ring pliers if you fancy a pair). Disengage the snap ring (or whatever verb you would like to use) and simultaneously twist and pull the regulator off. There is a screen there that you are recommended to clean off with something like compressed air as well.

On the fuel rail there is a Shrader valve, just push the pin in the middle of it after removing the cap. Why do you think the FPR is bad?
