Fuel Pressure Problem
Hello everyone. I am in need of some of your expert help. I have a 95 Monte Carlo Z34. Im having some trouble with Fuel Pressure. I start my car and go for a drive. I stop and go into a store and come back out a few min later and it wont start. It cranks over but dosent seem to be getting any fuel. I can let it sit for about 10 min and it will start right up. I have noticed after I shut the engine off and wait a couple minutes I can press the shreader valve on the fuel rail and just get a little bubble of fuel to come out. Im not sure if it may be the Fuel Pressure Regulator or not. I cant seem to find where it is located on this motorto check ot see if there is any fuel in the vacume line to determine if its bad.... any suggestions ? Or has anyone had this problem?....... Thank you in advance for any help....Chris

Here are a couple things I found that might be helpful to you.

This image appears to be the top right hand corner of the engine plenum / intake manifold, but it could be the bottom left corner I assume - with the fuel pressure regulator sitting right there. Check each corner of the plenum until you find it. I hope this has helped.

Resolution !!
Just an FYI for anyone interested or may have had this same problem. I had a problem with my 95 Monte Carlo Z34. When first starting it up the RPM's would race up and then drop repeatedly and run rough. Then after being driven a little I shut it off and after about 5min tryed starting it and it would crank over but not start. I check the fuel pressure at the rail with just the key turned on and only had 18 lbs of pressure. Started the car and at idle had 33 lbs of pressure. Raised the RPM's and little change in pressure. I changed the Fuel Pump and now it idles smooth and steady at start up and runs much smoother and no problems with restarting after being shut of and restared like before. Hope this helps someone............
