The car died, got a jump. Now all the lights, interior/exterior, are flashing and making clicking sounds and the battery light is flashing and beeping. Took it in, battery has full charge and alternator tests fine. HELP!!

 

If you have the Security Code for your Radio ... disconnect the Battery for 30-Minutes and then hook it back up.

 

One thing to add. The car turns on and drives. This all happens when driving down the road. And even when the keys are out of the ignition and all the doors are shut, it still continues! We had to unplug the battery to get it to stop.

 

Sounds like BCM (body control module) failure.

 

when you jumpstarted it how did you hook to your bat?

on our montes there is a BAT. connection on the fender on the pass side. it has a red cap on it. this is a direct line to the bAT of the car with out going thre the actuall computer etc...
SO any time you jump it or jump one off of it use this to hook on th epositive. and then ground the Neg on somehting like the motor mount etc...

I have seen folks not do this and it will cause it to spike the computer or the BCM or both and if a relearn dont work ya might have to take it in to ge tthe computere reflashed on the G.M. puter.
Or time to buy a replacement tha tyou always wanted with the reprogrammed files on it to open up the car some more LOL

It's the bcm. You will need to replace,reprogram and relearn the theft system.

 

It's the BCM! Been there, done that with my '01 SS LE.

 

I don't know anything about cars but my 03 Monte Carlo is doing the same thing posted above and I was curious if I have to take it to the dealership to get the BCM replaced?

 

Did you ever find out the problem? I'm having the same problem and im tired of buying part after part and it not being my problem..
